How do I make an appointment?

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking so have your Visa/MasterCard handy. If paying via ZipPay/Afterpay please sign up first on their website, once approved phone reception on 0478 718 278 to book an appointment. Please note are fees applied if using this payment method. 

How do I change my appointment?

Do you have Gift Vouchers available?
Gift vouchers are available online via: https://bookings.gettimely.com/cosmeticfx1/bb/purchase?giftVoucherId=139557 - alternatively we have hard copies in store if you wish to pick it up.
 
Can I wear Make-up to my appointment?
Yes. Keep in mind we will wipe most of it away during the procedure. You can touch-up make-up after your appointment being mindful to avoid the area.

190 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes, QLD, 4227. We are located on the Ground Floor of Brooklyn Apartments.

Is Parking Available? 
Yes, there is plenty of Free Parking via Boston Court (rear of building, first driveway on right), or street parking. Please allow time to find a park, sometimes it can be busy.

Do you have Eftpos?
Yes we accept Visa/Mastercard Debit & Credit Cards. We also accept cash. 

Do you have Payment Plans available?

Do I need any maintenance done on my Brows prior to my appointment?
We will Shape them for you on the day. Although please allow at least 48 hours prior to your appointment for any grooming (waxing, threading, tweezing, tinting) if you wish to have this done earlier.

Im Pregnant/Breastfeeding, can I have this done?
No. Unfortunately we cannot tattoo Pregnant/Lactating women. We want you & your baby to be as healthy as possible. It is best to wait.

I have an event coming up. What will my Brows look like? Should I postpone my procedure until after?
Any redness subsides within a few hours. They will be shiny due to the aftercare cream for 1 week. You may have minor scabbing/flaking between days 3 to 7 (depending on how aftercare is followed).

I have an existing Tattoo. Can we tattoo over this?
Not Always. It is best to come in for a consultation first so we can asses your existing tattoo - PLEASE PHONE TO MAKE THIS BOOKING.

I have had my Tattoo done elsewhere, how much will you charge for a touch-up?
FULL PRICE of $899.00, as this often requires more work. Once an existing client at Cosmetic FX touch-ups are $400.00.

How much for a tattoo touch-up/colour refresh for existing clients?
First touch-up is Free within 4-6 weeks of initial procedure. Thereafter prices are $400.00 for a Brow Refresh. We recommend yearly touch-ups to keep brows looking their best. 

How long will the tattoo last?
It will last 1-3 years depending on your skin type & how well you look after it. Some people hold pigment better than others.

How long does the tattoo appointment take?
Please allow 2.5 hours for your initial appointment. Allow approx 1.5 hours for your touch-up in 4-6 weeks time.

Whats involved in the Brow Procedure?
Medical History & Client Consent forms will need to be filled prior to the procedure and then some Before photos are taken.
 
The shape is pencilled in (free-hand) to suit your face shape. Please note you're welcome to make any changes to the shape - Its on YOUR face, we want YOU to be happy with it.
 
We choose a colour that matches your natural brow hair (please note it will look a little darker at first then lighten as it heals) - No we do not use black - No one needs black eyebrows!!
 
Anaesthetic is then applied to the area to minimise discomfort. Once effective tattooing is carried out which takes approx 1 hour. 

After photos are then taken & then Aftercare instructions are explained thoroughly. 

We will then make your Touch-up appointment for 4-6 weeks time.
